Beef Muchomo

Beef Muchomo is a tasty street food from Uganda using the simplest cuts of cubed beef.
Ingredients:
- 120 ml of vegetable oil
- 1 onion - cut in half and quartered
- 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon of ground cardamom
- ¼ teaspoon of ground pepper
- ¼ teaspoon of cardamom
- 900 grams of cubed beef
- Wooden skewers
Step 1:
Squeeze the lemon into a mixing bowl and mix with the oil, garlic powder, cardamom and salt.
Step 2:
Add the cubed beef and onions, then leave overnight to marinade in the fridge.
Step 4:
Thread the cubed beef and onions, one after the other onto water-soaked wooden skewers.
Step 5:
Heat your Grillstream to a temperature of 180°C and cook the skewers evenly until tender (please refer to guide on page # for internal cooking temperatures)..
Step 6:
Serve up the skewers with your choice of dipping sauces.
